DOES IT FAIR TO ATTRIBUTE THE BUBONIC PLAGUE OF COVID-19 TO GOD’S WRATH!

    Because the COVID-19 has a similarity to many plagues or pestilences that God has sent in the past upon aloof nations; and because there is a global concerned about the extent of this virus, many people believe that it has to be a punishment from The Lord our God. Well, the only way to find out if God has His input in this calamity is through His words.

     A bubonic plague is a virulent infectious disease that causes widespread permanent hardship. It is usually a form of pestilence caused by infectious animal bites, or by the effluvium of a person who was exposed to an infectious animal. According to most research results that have been done so far, COVID-19 is characteristically a bubonic plague. What God has to do with this plague? Is it one element of His judgments? NOT DIRECTLY. But, based on the content of the law of forbidden meats and animals, established by God in Leviticus 11, the COVID-19 pestilence is the result of the violation of that law. People have cursed themselves when they choose to disobey that commandment prohibiting the eating, domesticating, and touching unclean animals. Those animals were created only to replenish the eco-system, and as nutrients to other animals, but not to be inter-acted with humans. In this project I will, a) give a list of animals that The Lord God Almighty has created for human consumption/contact, and those that humans should stay away from; b)  the excuses people have been making in order to ignore The Lord’s commandments; and what Jesus says to the violators of His Father’s Laws; c) I will also tell you the punishment that was already included to be inflicted to whosoever disobeys any of these commandments; and d) how to stop this COVID-19 calamity.

WARNING: PLEASE, DO NOT IDEALIZING THIS LIST INTO RELIGION – THIS LAW WAS CREATED TO KEEP OUR BODY HOLY, BECAUSE IT IS THE TEMPLE OF GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT.  a) THE LIST – Clean animals’ people can eat: “Whatsoever parted the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the beasts” (Ox, Goats, etc.). Unclean Meats: We shall not eat the meats of animals that chew the cud, or them that divide the hoof: as the Camel, the Coney, the hare or the Rabbits, the Swine; we shall not even touch their carcasses, because they are abominable, says The Lord Almighty God. Unclean creatures from the waters: We must eat only those that have fins scales in the waters and the seas, and in the rivers. If they do not have fins scales, they are unclean; it is an abomination to eat them. Unclean Fowls: It is an abomination to eat the eagle, the ossifrage, the ospray, the vulture, and the kite after his kind. Every raven after his kind, and the owl, the cormorant, and the great owl; the swan, the pelican, and the gier eagle; the stork, the heron after her kind, the lapwing, and the bat. We shall not eat all fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination, says The Lord God. Unclean flying creeping things: prohibited creeping things for human’s consumption are the weasel, the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind. The ferret, the chameleon, the lizard, the snail, and the mole. According to the law of God, whosoever does touch these creeping things, even when they are dead, is unclean. On any object their bodies do fall is automatically uncleans. Even the dish on which their dead bodies was preserved is uncleans and must be destroyed (Leviticus 11: 3 – 47)

b) EXCUSES PEOPLE HAVE BEEN MADE TO DISOBEY THE LAW OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, and JESUS’ WARNING TO THEM- They have been trying all kind of excuses to avert God’s commandments. For instance, a lot of people say that the laws in the old testament are for the Israelites only. It is not true. God has chosen the nation of Israel as a model (display) to communicate to all nations. Meaning, they must read and learn about how He treats Israel when they have violated the law of God, because all nations will be treated the same way. Also, some people are saying that those laws are no longer applicable because they are now saved by faith in Jesus-Christ. Do they want us to believe that Jesus-Christ and His Father are divided? Jesus knew that they would do exactly that. So, He makes it clear in this statement that He and the Father are One. He says: “Thank not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5: 17 – 19). The rule for the law of God is rather acknowledge, repent, or be cursed.

c) WHAT THE LORD SAYS WILL HAPPEN TO THE VIOLATORS OF THIS COMMANDMENT? The Lord God says: “ If thou will not observe to do all the words of the law that is written in this book, that thou may fear this glorious and fearful name , THE LORD THY GOD; then The Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Also, every sickness, and every plague which is not written in the book of this law, them will The Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.” (Deuteronomy 28: 58, 59, 61). The point is, when people have decided to disobey the words of The Lord God, and do not even bother to repent, and because of that their lives are hardly impacted by these curses that God promises He will do; they cannot blame it on God; because they had chosen to be cursed. For example, until today China is being finger-pointed by many researchers as the birthplace of this pestilence which has been invisibly emanated globally. But this virus could have started in any of those countries that have been violated this law; for there is many. Anyway, It has been reported that the people of China have no regard for the law of God  prohibiting the consumption, or the touching of the unclean animals; they are even eating many other abominable animals that are not written in the list. It has also been revealed to me that even those meats that the words of God declared clean have been maltreated and preserved in poor hygienic conditions before consumption. Moreover, for many thousand years, that nation has been knowingly violated the Lord’s Commandments, saying: “Thou shall have no other gods before me” (Ex. 20: 3) “Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image” (Deut. 5 8-10; Ex. 20: 4-6). In addition to these acts of provocation toward the Almighty God, they have knowingly chosen for the nation’s symbol, the image of a dragon, who is the enemy of the people of The Lord God and the Lamb (Rev. 12: 13-17). If only they know how much The Lord God abhors people who are knowingly provoking Him, they would repent now from their wrong doings.

    d) THIS CALAMITY CAN BE STOPPED – Nations that believed in The Almighty God and His beloved Son Jesus-Christ, and have also been victimized due to the effluence of inter-trade, can stop this bubonic plague’s calamity by turning to the Lord, for He is merciful. He says: “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 13, 14). So, let all of us lift-up our voices to pray.
