While the “Day of the Lord Eve” was concerned primarily with motivating faith in Jesus, teaching ways to fulfill God’s will, and encouraging sinless living through the spread of the gospel of Jesus-Christ before He returns; the “Day of the Lord” is always referring in the bible as judgment of the nations after Christ removes His churches. The question that many people are asking is, WHEN IS THIS GOING TO HAPPEN? It’s proves that they have heard or been offered the word of God; but are they ready to be with Him? Unfortunately, many people who think they are going to heaven will not, because their lifestyle is not conforming to God’s desire. For the question “When”? The answer is, “no one knows”. However, Jesus gives us some signs that must occur before His Day of Fury and Anger.
In prior article called “Day of the Lord Eve” I spoke about seven sealed prophetic messages for this world, planned by God the Father to be occurred sequentially, or each time a seal is open before “Day of the Lord” begins. This biblical information is called “Seven seals”. I also said that based on the contents of each seal, and the evidences of their impact in the world, it’s clear four of them have been already completed. The “fifth seal” may have been already fulfilled; since John saw that it was a spirit to spirit action going on in heaven in which the “Souls” of people who were killed for the word of God were asking for justice, human cannot express in greater details concerning it time of fulfillment. Now, the point I’m trying to make here is this: If we have a group of seven messages (5 warnings+2 punishments); if the 5 group messages have been fulfilled, what do we have left? We have 2 punishments messages left. But, God is so compassionated He gives us an additional exemption time to be free from our sinful lifestyle before pouring His punishment; brothers and sisters around the world, we are living in the exemption period; don’t let it expired. I mean, if anyone desires to be saved the time to accept Jesus is now, before the last two Seals are open.
The sixth and seventh seals, also known as “the hours of temptation and darkness” are the beginning of the Day of the Lord, or judgment day.
There are three reasons that people who are serving God faithfully will not be in this world when these seals are lifted. The first reason is laying in the contents of the sixth seal: they’re showing darkness, confusion, chaotic events, and giving reasons to believe that the judgment of those whom denied God has just begun – John saw: “There was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood…The heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places; and the kings of the earth…hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountain” (Rev. 6:12). The second reason is relying in Jesus’ promise to keep us from the hours of darkness: we, the believers whom have been faithful to God and persevering till the end, are redeemed and have already received “The seal of the Living God” on our forehead just before the last two seals are open. As a reward, Jesus promises us that He will keep us from the hour of darkness and temptation that shall come upon the world (Rev. 3:10). Third reason, we will arrive before the throne of Jesus before the opening of the last two seals. John saw “a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindred, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb”. Many scholars believe that this multitude of believers that John saw arrives in heaven before the tribulation period and the world judgment, are those people who accepted Jesus-Christ during the spread of the gospel, alone with those who were killed throughout the ages for the word of God. This specific event can happen anytime from now. We know HOW it’s going to happen for the bible tells us; though we don’t know when: “For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (Thessalonians. 4:16&17)
The judgment’s opening stage – “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10)
